Hi, I’m Ting — welcome to OneWayTicketz! This blog is my little corner of the internet where I hope to inspire you to design your own “one way ticket” in life too.
Born and raised in Singapore, the Lion City, I’ve always had an insatiable curiosity to explore the world. What started with short trips to nearby countries soon grew into a passion for immersing myself in new cultures, chasing breathtaking landscapes, and collecting stories from every adventure.
Travel isn’t just about ticking destinations off a list for me — it’s about experiencing the world with purpose, capturing moments that tell a story, and reflecting on how these journeys shape who we are. Along the way, I’ve grown passionate about promoting more meaningful and sustainable travel so that future generations can also enjoy the beauty of our planet.
I dream of the day I can trade in my desk job for a backpack and a one-way ticket, exploring the world full time. Until then, I’ll keep sharing my adventures and lessons here, hoping they spark ideas for your own journey.
Cheers,
Ting ✈️
The name OneWayTicketz was inspired by a song called One Way Ticket by the Japanese band One Ok Rock. Although it was written as a love song, it struck a deeper chord with me — reminding me that life gives us only one chance, with no rewind button.
So why not make the most of it?
This blog is my way of helping others discover clarity, purpose, and joy in their journeys. My highest values guide me every step of the way:
-
Giving my family the best version of me and the life they deserve
-
Travelling the world to experience its endless beauty
-
Encouraging others to design their own version of a life worth living — because we each only get one ticket
And if you’re wondering about the “z” at the end — it’s a little nod to my name, Ting Zhi (TZ).
